From a few words to a tattoo drawn only for you

What can I say. Alek is an absolute pleasure to work with, is extremely humble, and will really help you find something you can be proud of for the rest of your life. The extremely clean line work and attention to detail is just a plus. I was looking for a lonnnng time for a place for my first tattoo and left with zero regrets.

I came to Aleki for a tattoo about 2 months ago. I had seen pics of his work on instagram and knew I wanted to book with him. The tattoo I wanted would be on my wrist/hand so I wanted it to be delicate/fine line. I sent him some pics for inspiration and a short description and when I arrived he had several designs for me. He’s absolutely meticulous in his work, he spent almost 45min sizing and placing the stencil - observing how it aligned with the space and worked with my other tattoos. He was just as thorough with his prep/sanitation etc. He’s a deep thinker and I really enjoyed our conversation as well. You can tell he loves what he does. I definitely plan to book with him again soon. His work is gorgeous and I’ve received so many compliments. Thank you. Aleki!

I waited nearly six months for my appointment, and I would do it again without hesitation. This is a piece of art I’ll carry for the rest of my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and talent he poured into it. If you’re looking for an artist who doesn’t just give you a tattoo but creates something truly personal and extraordinary, Aleki is your guy. Five stars aren’t enough.

Aleki helped bring the vision I had for my new tattoo into existence and provided an exceptional experience. From the start, he took the time to really understand what I was looking for then used his artistic abilities to create an awesome composition I was happy with. His skill made the actual tattooing process seamless and easy, and I really enjoyed getting to know him. Almost two years later, the forearm piece I got still looks incredible and I’ve received numerous compliments on it. 10/10 experience and I plan on getting more work from him in the future.

Working with Aleki is truly a 1 in a multi-million experience. Most times when you get a tattoo from a different artist, there’s little to no collaboration, the artist is hard to get in contact with, and it seems like you may be more of an inconvenience to them than anything. BUT with Aleki, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Aleki’s attention to detail, collaboration, and willingness to give you his all is truly unmatched. I had such a great experience with Aleki! From the first message about his availability and my ideas to the actual tattoo session. He took time to really understand my vision and story and came back with a great idea. I wanted a bit of a memorial tattoo to my late boyfriend but also something that had meaning for me incorporating each of the things I gave him. The day of the tattoo he spent almost an hour making sure the size and placement was just right, working with my body, working around small moles or freckles on my arm. He really took his time. It was just the two of us in the studio so I played my playlist and he worked. He had a pretty light touch, better than past experiences I’ve had with two other tattoos. He’s an interesting person and we had great conversation during the session and he wasn’t annoyed when I needed a couple bathroom breaks. I feel like his care and understanding of my story and wanting to know me was just what I needed, it was almost cathartic. I’m super happy with my ink and while he was the priciest tattoo I have, his art and skill was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Aleki is the most professional, patient, and talented tattoo artist I’ve ever worked with. I hadn’t gotten a tattoo in four years because I couldn’t find an artist who truly understood my vision. Aleki made me feel comfortable, listened to my ideas, and really connected with what I wanted. Despite the short notice, he came up with a design that ended up being my favorite piece. He has a unique style of his own, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his craft. I only wish he were closer, but I’d gladly make the drive to Portland to get tattooed by him again.
